Act 2! will present its Western-Comedy play "Blazing Guns at Roaring Gulch, or The Perfumed Badge" at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Act 2! will present its Western-Comedy play "Blazing Guns at Roaring Gulch, or The Perfumed Badge" at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Admission to the play is $10 for all shows, with children 5 and under free.

"Blazing Guns at Roaring Gulch, or The Perfumed Badge" is a "rip-roaring, pistol-packing" comedy that is for young and old alike. The audience will join lady Sheriff Willie Lovelace (played by Michelle Rathgaber) as her heart battles her head as she searches for true love among mistaken identities. She will battle the bad-hearted Widow Black (played by Tonya Harris) as she tries to take control of Roaring Gulch and those that live there. Audience members can cheer and root for Martha Muldoon (played by Carol Walls) as she stumbles across her long-lost love.

During the play, the audience will also meet Barney Black (played by Tom Henry), the good-natured desk clerk and stepson of Widow Black; Bill Filbert (played by Aaron Walls), a stage-struck cowboy and sidekick of Snipe Vermin; Snipe Vermin/Harry Heartstone (both roles played by Sam Fleming), a Western desperado and/or his handsome identical twin who happens to be a Pinkerton detective; Col. Crabtree (played by Greg Groves), A travelling showman; and Flora and Dora (played by Brittany Gibson and Amber Raney), who are Col. Crabtree's showgirls.

"Blazing Guns at Roaring Gulch, or The Perfumed Badge" is written by Shubert Fendrich, directed by Ken Jackson, and is being produced by special arrangement with Act 2! and the Pioneer Drama Service Inc. of Englewood, Colo.
