BPD investigating woman's death

The Blytheville Police Department is investigating the death of 55-year-old Barbara Faye Jackson, who was found lying on the ground in front of her apartment on David Lane Monday morning.

BPD Criminal Investigation Division Commander Scott Adams said Jackson's body was found lying face down on the front porch of an apartment, located at 1106 David Lane, by a neighbor who contacted BPD around 9 a.m. Paramedics arrived on the scene and confirmed Jackson was deceased.

Adams said the Police Department is conducting a death investigation and is waiting on the completion of an autopsy from the Arkansas State Medical Examiner for an official cause of death.
