Glenda Joyce Johnson Wisham
Glenda Joyce Johnson Wisham, 59, of Manila passed away Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at her home after a brave battle with cancer. Mrs. Wisham was born July 25, 1954, in St. Louis, Mo., to Carl and Louise Johnson. Mrs. Wisham was owner of the Fisherman's Inn for 10 years, cared about people, her grandchildren were everything to her, and she enjoyed going to the casino.
Survivors include her mother: Louise White of Osceola; her husband, Harold Wisham of the home; one son, Johnny McLemore of Manila; one daughter, Tammy McLemore-McMinn of Manila; one stepdaughter, Lee Ann Cook of Caraway; one brother, Bobby Johnson of August, Ga.; six aunts that were like sisters, Thelma Mullins of Jonesboro, Velma Fortner of Paragould, Betty Moore, Rosie Jones, Linda Hill and Tommie Parnell, all of Osceola; seven grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services were 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at Faith Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Graig Stull officiating. Interment followed at the Caraway Cemetery. The family received visitors at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until noon Monday.
Pallbearers were Robbie Pearson, Donnie Woods, James Weber, Barney McMinn, Terry Pearson, Danny Rollins and James Pettit.
