Mississippi County ended 2013 with a slight downtick in tax revenues, according to reports from County Treasurer Peggy Meatte.
At the end of December, the county's share of revenues from the 1-cent sales tax was $113,649.95, down from $113,935.56 in November.
The county's half-cent economic development tax brought in $284,280.36 during December, down from $284,900.18 in November.
Revenues for both taxes, however, were up from December of 2012 -- the half-cent tax by $14,000, and the share of the sales tax approximately $5,000.
