Lizie B. Davis

Mrs. Lizie B. Davis, 70, of Marked Tree, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2014, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born April 16, 1943, she was a retired factory worker and a member of Anderson Chapel M.B.C. in Marked Tree.

Mrs. Davis leaves her husband, John Davis of Marked Tree;

Two daughters, Ella Porter of Trumann, and Renarda Griffith of Jonesboro;

Three sisters, Lillie B. Stancil of West Memphis, Pearl Dyson of Marked Tree and Catherine Osby of Buffalo, N.Y.; and

Eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Anderson Chapel M.B.C. in Marked Tree with the Rev. Willie W. Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Marked Tree. The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza.
