Kortez Lamar Peoples

Mr. Kortez Lamar Peoples, 18, of Maple Heights, Ohio, formerly of Blytheville, died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at Metro Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Born June 4, 1995, to Rodney Peoples and Pamela Smith, he attended Tri C In Cleveland, Ohio.

Mr. Peoples leaves his great-grandparents, Mary Smith of Blytheville and Louisa Boyce and Joe Lewis Thomas of Osceola;

His grandparents, Sylvester Smith and Evelyn Smith of Gosnell, Rosetta Miller of West Memphis, and Earnestine Andrews of Jonesboro;

One sister, Maranda Nesby of Maple Heights, Ohio; and

Two brothers, Drekhari Nesby and Tyree Nesby, both of Maple Heights, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. M.L. Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home.
