ANC getting community into the Christmas spirit

Several Christmas concerts, presented by the music department of Arkansas Northeastern College, are upcoming.

On Dec. 5, "Christmas at ANC" will begin in the Adams/Vines Recital Hall at 7:30 p.m. It will feature performances by the Buffalo Island Central Singers, ANC Concert Singers, Treble Chorale, Community Choir and ANC Community Chamber Chorale.

On Dec. 8, "The Festival of Lessons and Carols" will be held at First Baptist Church, beginning at 3 p.m.

The festival will offer up traditional carols, motets and narratives foretelling the traditions of a coming Messiah. It will feature performances by the ANC Concert Singers, Treble Chorale, Community Choir and ANC Community Chamber Chorale.

Both concerts are under the direction of Dr. Keith Hearnsberger with Dennis Hay as organist and pianist.
