Lee Charles Brown
Mr. Lee Charles Brown, 58, of Luxora, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, in Luxora. Born Jan. 16, 1955, in Parkin, he was a truck driver and a member of New Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church of Osceola.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto Brown and Sallie Brown; a sister, Fairy Sanders; and brothers Joe Brown, Albert Brown and Otto Brown Jr.
Mr. Brown leaves six daughters, Tina Gorden of Luxora, Nikki Pearson of Burlington, Tracey Brown of Osceola, Veronica Hayes of Marion, Regina Brown of Burlington, and Deborah Brown of Jonesboro;
Two sons, Lee Charles Brown Jr. and Marion Brown, both of Luxora;
Five sisters, Effie Brown and Evelyn Brown, both of Luxora, Geraldine Brown of Arlington, Verna Dean Brown of Luxora, and Josephine Brown Matlock of Luxora; and
Nineteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services, officiated by Bishop Gregory Brown, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at New Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Osceola. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola.
