Buck-N of the Bulls event was held at the Caraway Equine Arena on Saturday, Oct. 26. Arena coordinator Roger Bell expressed his appreciation to the fans for supporting the event, the sponsors, riders and all that took a part in the Buck-N of the Bulls.
Bull riders from Nebraska, Missouri, Wisconsin, and Arkansas, associated with the Bull Riders of America, were in Caraway for the event.
The bulls were provided by Hall Rodeo Company, 2013 Stock Contractor of the Year.
Out of the 25 riders, the top eight rode a second time to the delight of the crowd. A championship belt buckle, provided by Kevin Jones Irrigation, was awarded to Ashton Collins from West Plaines, Mo.
Announcer Matt Palmer of Koshkonong, Mo., kept the crowd informed, honored the veterans, and complimented the Caraway Equine Arena.
In addition to the bull riding the crowd enjoyed the antics of rodeo Funny Man, Pork Chops, who entertained the the crowd and got several visitors involved in games at the center of the arena during intermission.
The bull fighters for the night were Garrett Wise and "Opossum" Gipson.
"We appreciate Air-Evac for being there," Bell said. "We did have a couple of riders sustain minor injuries. I guess that goes with bull riding."
Bell said he is looking forward to more events at the Equine Arena.
