Students in Kim Hart's Education and Training program at Arkansas Northeastern College Technical Center recently went back in time to see what education was like in the 19th century.
Members of the Future Educators Association club went to Parker Homestead where they have recreated a 19th century Arkansas town.
There were hands-on activities for the students, who learned a lot about being a student and a teacher during this time period.
The Education and Training program at ANC Technical Center is designed to provide training to students interested in being employed in the child-care profession, public school instructional assistance or considering a professional teaching career in the education field.
