Hattie Mae Woodard
Mrs. Hattie Mae Woodard, 81, of Osceola, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, at Osceola Therapy and Living Center. Born June 3, 1932, to the late Johnny Walker and Lottie Armstrong, she was a retired factory worker and a member of Tabernacle and served on the Motherboard.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Sine Woodard Jr.; and three sisters, Christine Woodard, Delia Hale and Helen Collins.
Mrs. Woodard leaves three daughters, Lottie Woodard of Blytheville, Shirley Woodard of Osceola and Ruth Ann Harvey of Texarkana;
One son, Howard Edward Woodard of Osceola;
One brother, W.C. Walker of Calhoun City, Miss.; and
Sixteen grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held a 2 p.m. Saturday at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Osceola with the Rev. M.L. Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.
