The Arts Council of Mississippi County will be bringing the hits of Broadway to Blytheville on Aug. 24 as a part of its 2013-14 show series.
"Broadway Showstoppers," by ETC Entertainment, will be hitting the stage live at the Ritz Theater in Historic Downtown Blytheville at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, as a part of the Arts Council's current program series.
The show will include the soaring melodies of classic Broadway to the hottest shows playing today. The performers have appeared everywhere from Carnegie Hall to a command performance at the White House and have performed starring roles in blockbuster Broadway shows in New York and San Francisco as well as in national touring productions.
The two-hour program will include such great hits as "All That Jazz," "Phantom of the Opera," "I Dreamed a Dream," "If I Were a Rich Man," "Sunrise, Sunset," "Music of the Night," "Impossible Dream," "People" and "Do You Hear the People Sing?," among others.
