Demond Moutry, 28, who is being charged in the death of 48-year-old Herman Lee Jackson, was arraigned Monday morning in Osceola Circuit Court and is out on a $100,000 temporary bond.

Demond Moutry, 28, who is being charged in the death of 48-year-old Herman Lee Jackson, was arraigned Monday morning in Osceola Circuit Court and is out on a $100,000 temporary bond.

Jackson died on June 29, after suffering what was initially believed to be a seizure in his home on June 27. However, further investigation and the medical examiner's report revealed the incident to be a homicide.

Witnesses later came forward to connect Moutry to the incident, saying he struck Jackson, causing the fatal injury.

Moutry is set to appear in Blytheville Circuit Court on Aug. 30.
