Manila Library ends summer reading program

Manila Library ended its summer reading program on Wednesday, July 10, with refreshments, prizes, and a drawing for a DSXL.

"We appreciate all of you and the reading you did this summer," Carol Barron, librarian said.

The summer program, Dig into Reading, consisted of story time, reading, guest speakers, arts and crafts.

All of the readers attending the final day received a grab bag filled with goodies.

The winner of the grand prize drawing was Alexis Hollingsworth, 7. She said she read a lot of books this summer and enjoyed the other activities at the Manila Public Library.
