The Blytheville Police Department is still looking for two suspects wanted in connection with a robbery that took place early Monday morning at Dodge's Chicken Store.
BPD received a call around 1:35 a.m. Monday in reference to an aggravated robbery that had already occurred. When officers arrived at the scene, store employees said the men responsible for the robbery were two black males who had already been in the store multiple times throughout the night.
When the men came in a final time, just after 1:30 a.m., they separated, according to the employee, who said one was near the drink cooler and the other approached the counter. The man at the counter drew a gun and demanded the money from both cash registers. The two men then left the store and headed south toward Interstate 55 in a burgundy Cadillac.
While searching the area, officers located the Cadillac abandoned along the service road to I-55 -- which had been reported stolen from Little Rock.
BPD officers are still looking for the two men and encourage anyone with any information regarding the incident to contact the Blytheville Police Department Criminal Investigation Division.
