The Blytheville Century 21 McWaters/ANC Casons have won six of their last seven games after sweeping a doubleheader at Batesville Wednesday night. The Casons defeated Batesville, 9-5, in 10 innings in game one and 4-0 in the nightcap.

It was the second doubleheader sweep in as many days for Blytheville after beating the Bootheel Blue Jays, 4-0 and 2-1 on Tuesday.

Over the weekend, the Casons won two out of three games in the Arkansas State University Showcase tournament. Blytheville bested Marion, 13-2, then defeated the Arkansas Express on Sunday, 4-3, before losing to 11-1 to a Marion Legion team.

The Casons head to Paragould this afternoon for a doubleheader and then head to East Prairie on Saturday for two games. Blytheville returns home on Monday, June 24, to take on Cape Girardeau, Mo.
