Josanna Rene Ivey
Mrs. Josanna Rene Ivey, 55, of Blytheville, passed from this life Sunday, June 16, 2013, at White County Medical Center in Searcy.
Born in Hayti, Mo., to Ed and Jo Mary Maxine Teeter Rhodes, she was a homemaker and a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Gosnell.
Josanna was a member of the Writer's Guild of Mississippi County, the Women of Westminster Village and was a "Red Hatter." She enjoyed painting and writing poetry and she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Maxine Teeter; and one brother.
Josanna is survived by her husband of 39 years, Joe Ivey, of the home;
Her children, Brandon Ivey of Gosnell, Michell Jaworski and husband, Charles, of Rock Hill, S.C., and Eric Ivey and wife, Amanda, of Jonesboro;
Her grandchildren, Skylar Ivey of Lake City and Logan Ivey, Isaac Ivey and Hunter Ivey, all of Jonesboro;
Her father, Ed Arlen Rhodes and wife, Margie, of Blytheville;
Two sisters, Cindy Shelton of Gosnell and Sherry Ahnee of Hawaii; and
A brother, Rocky Rhodes of Yarbro.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday in the Ramey Center at Westminster Village in Gosnell.
