Delta Gateway Museum to be open for Mayfest

The Delta Gateway Museum in downtown Blytheville will be open from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday for Mayfest.

The museum has the Blytheville Public Schools' K-12 student art show and will also have the "Young Arkansas Artists" traveling exhibit on display.

The museum normally hosts Heirloom Saturday at the Museum on the second Saturday of the month.

"We're concentrating on Mayfest and the student art shows this time, but would love to see heirlooms and collectibles from the 1960s in honor of the Mayfest theme," said director Leslie Hester.
