Riverside defeated Marmaduke 6-4 Monday afternoon to earn a trip to this week's 2A Regional Tournament at Tuckerman.

Devon Austin earned the win, going six innings, giving up six hits and three earned runs. Austin fanned eight and walked two. Kollin Stone picked up the save, pitching the final inning for the Rebels.

Riverside's title hopes were dashed by top seeded Marked Tree, 7-4, in the semifinals. Cody Webb suffered the loss for Riverside, who fell to 13-8 on the season. Webb went 6 1/3 innings, giving up seven runs, four earned. Webb fanned five and walked two.

Austin led the Rebels at the plate with a single, a double and two RBI. Stone added a pair of singles.

BIC saw its season come to an end, dropping a 5-1 decision to East Poinsett County in the quarterfinals. Jacob Sanders suffered the loss while Austin Pike was responsible for the Mustangs' lone run with a sacrifice fly.
