Mr. Daphne Duane Tate, 42, of Osceola, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, in Blytheville. Born Feb. 8, 1970, to Essie Lee Manning of Jonesboro and the late Jack Gibbs. He was a chef.
Mr. Tate leaves his wife, Annie Tate of Osceola;
Two daughters, Dominick Hollinsworth and Desiree Dabney Tate of Jonesboro;
Four sons, Travis (and Yogi) James, Jamarrow (and Erica) James and Zarious James of Jonesboro, and Dantare Cobbs of Osceola;
Two sisters, Jacqueline (and Randy) Gibbs Daniels and Marion and Stacy Gibbs of St. Petersburg, Fla.;
One brother, Ervin Richardson of Memphis; and
Nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at New Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Osceola with the Rev. Brian Olden officiating. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola. The family will receive visitors from noon-2 p.m. Saturday at New Mt. Pleasant M.B. in Osceola.
