Douglas Ursey Stallings
Mr. Douglas Ursey Stallings, 77, of Red Bay, Ala., formerly of Blytheville, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, in Bull Shoals, Ala. He was born to the late Clay and Euna Stallings of Vancouver, Wash., formerly of Blytheville, and attended Dell Schools before moving to Chicago where he worked for Yellow Freight Line. After retiring he moved to Red Bay where he loved fishing and taking his boat out on the lake, as well as hunting with friends.
Mr. Stallings leaves two sons, Douglas (and Joy) Stallings Jr. of Collierville, Tenn., and John Stallings of Chicago;
Three daughters, Becky (and Jeff) Browning of Collierville, Tenn., and Benda Stallings and Debbie Stallings of Chicago;
Four sisters, Mary Flaherty of Vancouver, Wash., Betty Simmons of Plano, Texas, and Lou Conley and Carolyn Smallwood of Blytheville;
One brother, Jerry Stallings of Ridgefield, Wash.; and
Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at 1 p.m. at the Funeral Home of Red Bay. The family will receive visitors at 11 a.m. Friday.
