Pam Hicks-Hobbs, 48, of Blytheville, was arrested late Monday night for fleeing from officers and appeared in court Tuesday morning.

Blytheville Police Chief Ross Thompson said Hicks-Hobbs was arrested after officers patrolling the 900 block of East Main Street noticed a vehicle allegedly driving 13 mph over the speed limit. When the officers attempted to pull the vehicle over, it reportedly sped up to 30 mph over the speed limit.

The vehicle, driven by Hicks-Hobbs, eventually pulled over just outside the city. She was investigated for DWI and was charged with fleeing and speeding.

Hicks-Hobbs pleaded guilty to fleeing and speeding Tuesday morning in the Mississippi County Chickasawba District Court.

Hicks-Hobbs is the mother of Stevie Branch, one of the three boys murdered in 1993 in the so-called "West Memphis Three" case.
