Manila Lions met Wednesday discussing the upcoming pancake supper scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 1. They will start serving at 5 p.m. at the Manila school cafeteria.
Lion Tracey Reinhart said the food has been ordered.
The Lions discussed using the south side door of the cafeteria where there is ample parking. President Wendell Poteet said they will ask Lion Randy Frakes about making four signs directing people to the cafeteria.
Lioness Ann Jaco asked the Club to donate $125 to go with what they have to help with the purchase of toys to be placed in the Christmas boxes for families with children. Lions agreed unanimously to make the donation.
Lion Tom Jaco said he would like to start the bell ringing on Friday after Thanksgiving. That will give the club four weekends for the road block.
The Lions meet on Wednesdays at noon in the school cafeteria. Since school will be out on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, Nov. 21, Lions will meet at the Depot if it is available.
