The Great and Powerful Fitzini--Seer of Seers, prognosticator of prognosticators--will now give you his predictions for this Friday's prep football games. Please keep in mind, these predictions come with a 100 percent guarantee of being either right or wrong.

Blytheville (2-3, 1-1 5A-East)

at Greene County Tech (1-4, 0-2 5A-East)

The last time Blytheville played at Tech, the Chicks fell to the "voodo that they do" at Greene County Tech in 2010. Former Chickasaw, Kyle Walker, had his touchdown as time expired called back for a mysterious penalty at the line of scrimmage.

Blytheville is coming off a huge win at upstart Nettleton last week. Their running game got a boost but not as big as their defense with two turnovers late in the game to stall Raider drives.

Tech's only win came against 3A Rivercrest back in week two.

They put up points on offense but then again, so does the other team.

Their defense is giving up more than 40 points a game.

The Chicks win this one in a dog fight and become "homecoming wreckers" like head coach Vince McCrosky asked them to be.

Blytheville 16,

Greene County Tech 8

Trumann (0-5, 0-2 3-4A)

at Gosnell (2-3, 2-0 3-4A)

Gosnell is back on track to make another 4A state playoff trip.

After losing their first three games, the Pirates have bounced back nicely with two conference wins and found a nice offense along the way.

A win against Trumann will be huge with the dreaded back-to-back road trips to Highland and Pocahontas in front of them.

Trumann is having a rough year to say the least. They haven't won a game and they lost to Westside. The Wildcats haven't beaten the Pirates since their overtime win on the last play of the game at Trumann in 2008.

That losing streak should continue as well for the Wildcats.

Gosnell 30, Trumann 6

Corning (3-2, 2-0 3-3A)

at Rivercrest (3-2, 2-0 3-3A)

It's a battle of unbeatens in the 3-3A.

The Colts have won three in a row after an 0-2 start and are putting together some tough numbers.

They are averaging nearly 30 points a game while giving up 19 and have outscored their league foes, 71-18.

After a four-year drought, Corning looks like it is back on track to make the 3A state playoffs.

The Bobcats have won their first two league games with offensive outputs of 40 and 36 points and are coming off a road win at Manila last week.

Corning is improved, but Rivercrest is better and even better at the Cotton Patch.

Rivercrest 32, Corning 21

Osceola (3-2, 2-0 3-3A) at Piggott (1-3, 0-2 3-3A)

This might be the biggest mismatch of the week.

Osceola has entered the 3-3A with a bang winning their first two games in their new home conference by a total score of 50-13. The Seminoles have not allowed more than one touchdown in either game.

After a week three win to Palestine-Wheatley, the Mowhawks have failed to put one in the win column in 3-3A play this year.

Playing Osceola is not the recipe for Piggott's first league win of the year.

Osceola 33, Piggott 8

Harrisburg (0-4, 0-2 3-3A) at Manila (1-4, 1-1 3-3A)

The Lions are coming off a rough, 36-6, loss to Corning last week after winning their conference opener against Piggott two weeks ago.

Harrisburg is still trying to find the right combination for their first win of the year. The Hornets have only scored 19 points over their last three games.

A home crowd and a two-point conversion might be what Harrisburg needs to beat the Lions in a squeaker.

Harrisburg 8, Manila 6

Last week: 4-1, Overall: 14-4
