Carl Ray Warren

Carl Ray Warren, 56, of Leachville, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Blytheville he was the son of the late J.H. "Jr." and Mary Virginia Rush Warren and had lived most of his life in Leachville. He was a 1974 graduate of Leachville High School and had served in the U.S. Navy. He was a retired shipping/receiving coordinator for Cyro Industries in Osceola and was a licensed minister working with the prison ministry in Luxora. Carl was a longtime member of the Leachville Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Carroll Warren of the home; son, Carl Ray Warren, II of Leachville; daughter, Krystal Daniels of Leachville; two stepdaughters; Christina Summers of Lebanon, Ill., and Melissa Pritchett of Belleville, Ill.; one brother, Larry Warren of Marmaduke; one sister, Reeba Jones of Leachville; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Raymond Lasley, David Lawrence, and Jeremy Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Leachville Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Tuesday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
