Linda Sue Staggs Lester

Mrs. Linda Sue Staggs Lester, 62, of Manila passed away Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Manila, she was the daughter of the late Erbie Staggs and was a lifelong Manila resident.

Mrs. Lester attended Manila public schools and was a member of Westside Baptist Church.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her infant sister, Wanda Gail Staggs.

Mrs. Lester is survived by her husband, Mr. Danny Lester of the home; her mother Mrs. Billie Gean Staggs of Manila; a brother, Erbie Eugene Staggs and wife, Cheryl of North Little Rock; two sisters, Christine Walker and husband, Gary, of Swea City, Iowa, and Darline Dearen of Manila and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at Westside Baptist in Manila with Rev. Andy Andros officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila.

The family will receive visitors Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home and Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of services at the church.
