The Buffalo Island Museum in Monette will host its second Quilt Show from 9 a.m. -- 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22.
Entry forms are available at the museum, Monette City Hall, and Kohn Memorial Library. There is no entry fee. Quilt entry will be from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, at the museum, Entrants are asked to turn in a story about their quilt.
Entrants are not required to be present to win. People are allowed as many quilt entries as desired, and entry certificates for participation will be issued at the close of the show.
Quilts may be picked up at the close of the quilt show, or during museum hours, 12:30 to 4 p.m. on Sept. 28 and 29.
Vendors wishing to set up a booth outside the building during the Quilt Show are asked to contact Monette Mayor Chub Qualls at 870-530-1632 or Ernestine Harrell at 870-486-5479.
