Mr. Danny Kay Laden, 64, of Lepanto, died of heart failure Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, in Memphis. Born Jan. 3, 1948, in Etowah, he was a retired construction worker and a Baptist. He was also an Army veteran who served in Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Laden; his parents, Luther and Pearl Laden; and his brother, Bill Laden.
Mr. Laden leaves two daughters, Amanda Webb of Bartlett and Karen (and Alan) Drobeck of Olive Branch;
Two step-daughters, Dawn Soto of Jonesboro and Rhonda McVay of Cape Girardeau, Mo.;
One son, Danny Bruce Laden of Lepanto;
Two step-sons, Bruce McVay of Lepanto and Larry McVay of Howell;
Four sisters, Mary Russell, Lilly Prince, Cathy Tyler and Linda Laden, all of Arkansas;
Seven brothers, Othie Laden of Missouri and George Laden, Junior Laden, Jimmy Laden, Fredlee Laden, Bobby Laden, and Rickey Laden, all of Arkansas; and
Seventeen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Daniel Nooner, were held at Revival Center in Lepanto. Burial took place at Potter Cemetery in Lepanto.
