Bill Hudson
Mr. Bill Hudson, 68, of Ripley, Tenn., formerly Blytheville, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, in Ripley.
Born in Armorel to Wallace and Opal Williams Hudson, Bill graduated from Armorel High School with the class of 1963. Following graduation, he served the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was a member of Sons of Confederate Veterans and loved genealogy, fishing, riding horses, woodworking and writing poetry and songs but his greatest passion was being with his family and friends.
Bill is survived by wife, Diane Ray Hudson;
His children, Mark Sanders and wife, Tami, Bill Hudson II and wife, Tammy, Monica Hudson Maciel and husband, Patrick, and Anita Hudson Lewis and husband, Chris;
His sisters, Bobbie Dobbs, Betty Wells, Gail (and Dale) Stewart and Carolyn Hudson;
Eleven grandchildren, Dustin Dormer, Caleb Dormer, Tyler Sanders, Joey Hudson, Taylor Sanders, Austin Hudson, Kayla Hudson, Taylor Hudson, Heather Hudson and Hayley Lewis; and
One great-grandchild that will be born in February.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Cobb Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time for service. Condolences may be expressed at www.cobbfuneralhome.com
