Shirley Peyton is working on a book of records of the Manila Cemetery. Payton said the first records were destroyed by fire, and some of the older markers are illegible.
She has requested help from friends and family who know of anyone buried at the cemetery and does not have a marker or anyone who can help identify the markers.
"We are getting closer to going to going to print and if anyone has information we would appreciate their help in helping make the record book as accurate as possible," Petyon said.
Anyone with information may contact Peyton at (870)539-6870.
