The Butterfly House has had a successful first year with good support from businesses, communities, churches, and state leaders.
"Your donations mean the beginning of new life for women we hope to serve in the near future," Kristen Stutts said.
Presently, the Board of Directors is working on a transitional care facility, which would house approximately 10 women and a house mother.
The Butterfly House does not qualify for grants due to being a faith-based treatment facility.
Gerald and Feggie Bebout have donated 1-1/2 acres to the Buttefly House. The board has been meeting with construction businesses to discuss a metal building donated for the transitional care facility.
There are upcoming events including a 5K Run Oct. 27 at the Adams Estate in Leachville. Cookbooks are still for sale for $15.
