Local football teams hold "media" days

It's "Media Week" around the local area with both Gosnell and Blytheville hosting Media Day sessions.

Gosnell held theirs on Tuesday morning at J.W. Rea Field with Blytheville hosting theirs on Thursday at Haley Field.

This is the first "Media Day" for new head coaches, Vince McCrosky of Blytheville and Gary Moody of Gosnell.

The two coaches replaced Maurice Moody and Brian Sims who abruptly departed within days of one another back in June.

Blytheville and Gosnell are scheduled to play one another in the AAA Benefit Game on Thursday, Aug. 23. The location and time have yet to be determined.
