Eddie L. 'Ricky' Luster Jr.
Eddie L. "Ricky" Luster Jr., was born Jan. 15, 1958, in Armorel.
The son of the late Eddie L. and Senda Lue Luster Sr. he attended Armorel and Blytheville schools.
He left Arkansas in 1977 and lived in Chicago and Detroit. He returned home in 1991 and worked as a crane operator for Maverick Tube Corporation. He enjoyed his family and friends and was an active member of the Graveyard Kids Organization.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Elnora Davis Luster of the home;
One daughter, Ms. Erica Davis of Blytheville;
Eight sisters, Mrs. Mary Ann (and Anthony) Brown, Ms. Alice Luster, Ms. Thelma Luster, Ms. Sherry Brown, Mrs. Norma Luster, Ms. Janice Hall, all of Blytheville, and Ms. Laura Luster of Dublin, Va., and Mrs. Debra (and Rel) Smith of Memphis;
Three brothers, Johnny (and Shermaine) Brown of Milwaukee, Wisc., James (and Donna) Luster and Donald (and Donna) Luster of Blytheville;
A granddaughter, Ashanti;
Two aunts, Mrs. Mary E. Eison of Halls, Tenn., and Mrs. Ida L. Tate of Blytheville;
Two uncles, Jimmy Brown of Halls, Tenn. and Luther (and Betty) Brown of Milwaukee, Wisc., and;
Nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at New St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church at 515 E. Sawyer St. in Blytheville with the Rev. Clark Phillips pastor. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Gardens. The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the church. Arrangements are by McDonald-Horne Funeral Home.
