Blytheville man James Gregory returned to circuit court this week to face charges of terroristic threatening. The charges stem from an incident in September, in which Gregory was arrested after allegedly making threats against numerous local officials.

The Arkansas State Police issued the initial warrant for first degree terroristic threatening after they received an email which Gregory sent to the office of Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe.

In circuit court Tuesday, Judge Ralph Wilson had the charge of terroristic threatening changed to a misdemeanor charge of harassing communications. Gregory is set to appear in Blytheville District Court on this new charge Aug. 16.
