MANILA, Ark. (AP) -- A small earthquake has shaken parts of northeastern Arkansas.
The U.S. Geological Survey reports a 2.2-magnitude tremor occurred about 12:09 a.m. Monday 4 miles south-southeast of Manila. A Mississippi County sheriff's dispatcher says she wasn't aware of any reports of injuries or damage from the temblor.
Geologists say earthquakes with magnitudes of 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest felt by humans.
