Bobby Richard Misner
Mr. Bobby Richard Misner, 70, of Manila, died Saturday, June 16, 2012, in his home. Born in Franklin, Mo., to the late Merion Richard and Ester Briggs Misner, he was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a retired Postmaster who served in Obion, Newbern and Ripley, Tenn.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Mollie Ann Misner.
Mr. Misner leaves his wife, Becky Hamilton Misner of Manila;
One son, Scott Misner of Manila;
Two daughters, Lori Blaylock of Yorktown, Va., and Milly Misner of Leachville;
Four brothers, Tommy Misner of Monterey, Tenn., Ray Misner of Manila, and Billy Misner and Wayne Misner of Dayton, Ohio;
One sister, Nancy Todd of Monterey, Tenn.;
Five grandchildren, Kyle, Kelce, Brody, Maesyn and Max; and
Two great-grandchildren, Maddox and Miraye.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with the Rev. William Piercy and the Rev. Jarred Russell officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Ford, J.P. Baugher, Bobby Shipley, Mark Misner, Troy Misner and Terry Pearson. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
