Dorothy Marie Wigginton
Mrs. Dorothy Marie Wigginton, 73, of Manila, Ark., died Sunday, June 10, 2012, at her home. Born March 26, 1939, in Victoria, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Arlie and Grace Bradford Humble and was a homemaker and longtime area resident. Mrs. Wigginton was a member of the Carroll's Corner Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and enjoyed going to church and being with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Lawrence Wigginton of the home; two sons, David Houston Humble and wife Vanessa and Ricky Lee Wigginton and wife Charlotte, all of Manila; one daughter, Brenda Lee Humble of Hickory Ridge, Ark.; one brother, Earnest Humble of Myrtle, Miss. Mrs. Wigginton also leaves eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Scott Humble; one sister, Lucille Collins; and four brothers, A.J. Humble, Albert Humble, Carl Humble and Leroy Humble.
Funeral services were 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, at Carroll's Corner Church of the Lord Jesus Christ with Rev. Tommy Wilbanks officiating. Burial followed in the Garden Point Cemetery in Etowah under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila.
The family received visitors from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Pallbearers were Alan Gates, Kyle Wilbanks, Steven Wilbanks, Steven Shephard, Audie Russell, Robin Hollinsworth and Newt Shephard.
