Janet Lee Stone

Janet Lee Stone was born July 13, 1964, in Chicago, Ill., and passed from this life June 15, 2012, at her home in Manila. She was the daughter of the late David Stone and had been a longtime Manila resident. She was a former employee of White's Shoe Factory of Manila and Adams Land Company in Leachville.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Randall "Stoney" Stone, and a sister, Gloria Sanford.

She is survived by a son, David Waddell and his wife Pennye of Manila; a daughter, Shelley Waddell of Manila; her mother, Velma Green of Manila; and nine grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Joshua Waddell, Nick Smith, Kaleb Waddell, Randy Smith, Aalea Waddell, Addison Waddell, Jacob Cates and Jealynn Cates.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, in the Manila Cemetery with Rev. James Chipman officiating. Howard Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive visitors Tuesday from noon until time of service at the funeral home.
