MAJOR LEAGUE

Kiwanis 17, Henson Fire 7

Kiwanis scored 10 runs over the first two innings and never looked back on its way to a 17-7 win over Henson Fire in five innings Tuesday night.

Calup Hedger and Duncan Jones combined for five innings of work on the mound for Kiwanis.

Hedger and Mac Connell were each one home run shy of hitting for the cycle for Kiwanis.

Hedger (single, double and a triple), Connell (2 singles, a double and a triple), Jones (2 hits), Zach Kibler (4 hits), Brayden Hohn (3 hits), Dallas Atkinson (2 hits), Chaz Tally (1 hit) powered the Kiwanis offense.

Noah Willingham picked up two hits for Henson Fire while Aaron Weeks, Zach Phillips, Ryan Russell and Colton Walker each had a hit a piece in the loss.

MINOR LEAGUE

Nucor 12, Precision Tech 2

Nucor scored nine runs in the first two innings and never looked back their way to a 12-2 win over Precision Tech in four innings Tuesday night.

Ross Russell tossed a two-hitter striking out 10 in four complete innings of work for Nucor.

Russell (1-3 and a run scored), Ty Wagner (2-2 with 3 runs scored) and Gunner McCullar (1-1 with a run scored) powered the Nucor offense.

Connor Hyde (1-2 and a run scored) and Logan Gray (1-2) picked up hits for Precision Tech.

ROOKIE LEAGUE

Rotan Planting 13,

Blytheville First Assembly 3

Rotan Planting scored five runs in each of the third and sixth innings to help move past Blytheville First Assembly, 13-3, Tuesday night.

Landen Wrinkles, Kentrell Franklin, Brandon Weeks, Trey Fikes and Daniel Sullivan scored runs for Rotan Planting.

Luke Barnes and Maki Rainer scored runs for Blytheville First Assembly.
