Walker Park pool opens this weekend

Swimming season at the Walker Park pool will begin at noon Saturday, according to new pool manager Tim Yost.

The pool will be open from noon-5 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday for those looking to cool off during the Memorial Day weekend.

The cost is $2 per person.

"Come out and have a great time," Yost said.

Sunday will be the only Sunday the pool is open, he said.

The pool's regular hours will be noon-5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
