Gosnell's Christen Houwen and Blytheville's Madison Ellis were recently chosen out of thousands of players from across the country to attend Softball Factory's select training camp in Baltimore, Md. this summer.

Houwen and Ellis were two out of only three players in the state chosen to attend the prestigious training camp. Not only will this be a great experience, but it will help them reach their highest potential and help them receive national recognition to play college softball.

The Softball Factory is the official scouting partner for ASA/Team USA Fastpitch Softball. It will provide the girls training on and off the field to assist the student athlete in their ultimate quest to play at the college and professional level. Houwen and Madison will attend the week long camp and live the life of a college softball player.

They will be instructed by professional softball players and college coaches. They will also enter into a National Identification program and have their player profile page created on the Softball Factory's website which is used to recruit players from across the country.

Houwen and Ellis are seeking sponsors, as well as personal donations, in order for them to have this once in a lifetime opportunity and to help cover their expenses. If you are interested in sponsoring, or willing to make a personal donation, please contact, 870-623-2952.

Any support will be greatly appreciated.
