The Mississippi County Healthy Start Initiative will be hosting its 2012 Women's Health Fair on Saturday at the Wiley Center on South Franklin.
Information on health, nutrition, education, breast feeding and car seat safety will be available. There will also be CPR training, dental exams, depression screenings and information on services for special needs children. A Mary Kay beauty representative will be on site, and attendees can enjoy hair styling, food, music and door prizes.
Vendors at the event will include the Arkansas Department of Health, Department of Human Services, Healthy Partners Inc., Mississippi County EMT, the Blytheville Fire Department, Medical Solutions, Main Street Natural Foods Market, Dr. Higginbotham's dental clinic, Dr. Oldham's chiropractic clinic, the Blytheville Police Department, the Tobacco Coalition, Delta Sigma Theta, First Tee of Northeast Arkansas, ANC TRiO, Pathways Program, Sickle Cell, Mississippi County Cooperative Extension, Early Head Start Program, Mississippi County Cancer Council, St. Bernard's Monograph Unit, the American Red Cross, Avon and Mary Kay.
