Bud Moxley of Monette has been appointed by Governor Mike Beebe to serve a four year term on the Criminal Detention Facility Review Committee, Judicial District 2.

Moxley served in law enforcement for 15 years with 12 years as Craighead County Eastern District Deputy Sheriff.

The committee oversees the detention facilities for six counties, Craighead, Clay, Greene, Mississippi, Poinsett, and Crittenden.

Craighead County Judge Ed Hill presided over the swearing in ceremony held Wednesday afternoon. Also present was Quorum Court member Bob Blankenship.

Moxley expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to serve on the committee.
