The 2012 Cal Ripken League opened their season Monday night at the Blytheville Youth Sportsplex.

Rookie League, Minor League and Major League all had season openers with more set for Tuesday night. Here's a roundup of the action.

MAJOR LEAGUE

Henson Fire 7, Rotary 4

Tied at 2-2 in the bottom of the fifth, Henson Fire scored five runs and held on to beat Rotary, 7-4, in six innings.

Noah Winningham went the distance for Henson Fire striking out three while allowing four earned runs over six innings pitched.

Russell (1-2), Self (1-2) and Weeks (a run scored) led the offense for Henson Fire.

Chris Pugh (3 hits), Anthony Roberts (3 hits), Payton Wineberry (1 hit) and Weston Hollingshead (2 hits) led the way for Rotary.

Kiwanis 3, Lions 2

Kiwanis pitching allowed two runs in the first but shut out Lions the rest of the way on their way to an extra innings, 3-2, win.

Jones struck out three batters in two innings pitched. Atkinson (1-3) led the offense for Kiwanis.

Holifield (1-3) and Wilson (1-3) picked up hits for Lions.

MINOR LEAGUE

Precision Technology 15, Lions 4

Precision Technology scored five runs in each of the first, second and third innings on their way to a 15-4 win over Lions in four innings.

C.J. Simmons picked up the win for Precision Technology while Simmons (2-2 and 2 runs scored) and Logan Gray (2-2) led the offense.

Landon Hicks (2-2 and 2 runs scored) and Cole Catt (1-2) led the offense for Lions.

ROOKIE LEAGUE

Rotan Planting 7,

Farm Bureau 6

Trailing by a run in the bottom of the sixth, Rotan Planting scored two runs to post a 7-6 comeback win over Farm Bureau.

Brandon Weeks, John Alan Adkisson, Daniel Sullivan, Landen Wrinkles, Jett Stephenson and Justin Duggin scored runs for Rotan Planting.

Dillon Williams, Jace Fonden, Pedro Bautista and Braden Thomas scored runs for Farm Bureau.

Davis Lawn Care 10, Blytheville First

Assembly 3

Davis Lawn Care scored seven runs over the first three innings on their way to a 10-3 win over Blytheville First Assembly.

Layne Wilkey, Ty Ledbetter, Ryan VanDyke, Eli Zielinski and Brayden Rounsaville scored runs for Davis Lawn Care.

Virgil Davis, Skyler McGowen and Dillan Buckner scored runs for Blytheville First Assembly.
