Hufford's Lumber and Hardware held an open house and ribbon cutting Saturday, March 31. The new business is located at 201 South Main Street in Leachville. Hufford's Lumber and Hardware held an open house and ribbon cutting Saturday, March 31.

The new business is located at 201 South Main Street in Leachville. Owners Greg and Shannon Hufford welcomed guests, served hot dogs and hamburgers, and gave tee-shirts, hats and held drawings for prizes. The LIDC members provided coffee and cookies for the event.

Leachville Mayor Shelia Spurlock and members of the city council as well as members of the LIDC were present for the event.

A grand prize of a $300 gift certificate was won by Nancy Ladd.

The new business will be open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 8 a.m. until noon on Saturday.
