Lucille Babb

Lucille Babb, 85, of Manila, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born June 22, 1926, at Little River, Ark. She was a homemaker and member of Blackwater Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Hicks and Martha Hicks, her husband, J.W. Babb, a son, Billy Childress, four sisters and four brothers.

She is survived by two sons, Edward (Joann) Ward of Manila, and William (Kathy) Greem of Mayfield, Ky.; nine grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 22, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Osceola with Brother Burl Lloyd officiating. Burial followed in the Manila Cemetery.
