Jimmie Everett Jeffers

Jimmie Everett Jeffers, 64, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012. He was born Sept. 4, 1947, in Black Oak to the late Fred and Essie Davidson Jeffers. Jim was a resident of Ash Flat Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center since 2007. He spent his days surrounded by many caring friends. Jim enjoyed listening to music, playing cards, bingo and all outdoor activities.

He will be remembered by two sisters and their husbands, Geraldine and Bob Dennis and Patsy and Don Crews; a sister-in-law, Joann Jeffers and many other loving family.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Larry Jeffers.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Monette Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Rick Stevens officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.

Visitation was Saturday at the Gregg Funeral Home in Monette from 12:30 until 1:30 pm.

Honored to serve as pallbearers were Donald Jeffers, Charles Brickell, Henry D. Finch, Rudy Anderson, Eldon Anderson and Asa Boatman.

Family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Surinder Sra for his dedication and continuous exemplary care. Special recognition and sincere appreciation is also extended to the entire staff of Ash Flat Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
