Lester Farris

Mr. Lester Farris, 66, of Blytheville, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

He was a factory worker and a member of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Farris.

He leaves behind his mother, Hazel Chambers Golden of Blytheville;

One daughter, Roshell Farris of Blytheville;

One son, Steven Farris of Blytheville;

Four sisters, Marcie Thompson of Blytheville, Gloria Harris of Memphis, Charlene Taylor of Detroit, and Erma Golden of Atlanta;

Five brothers, James Golden of Detroit, Tony Golden of Bloomington, Ind., Charles Golden and Danny Golden of Atlanta, and Willie Golden of Blythveille; and

Thirteen grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Elder Henry Davenport officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
