Riverside's senior girls split a pair of conference games last week, losing 48-40 Monday night at Walnut Ridge before bouncing back to defeat Cross County 41-28 Thursday night at Caraway.

Audrey McElrath and Ashlyn Cothern led the Lady Bobcats with nine points apiece. Walnut Ridge hit 11-20 free throws and made one three pointer on the night.

Kenzley Wilson scored a game high 18 points to lead Riverside while Rebekah Frayer added nine more. Lindsey Bennett and Anna Brickell scored seven and six points respectively for Riverside, who finished 14-23 from the foul stripe.

Riverside held a slim 10-9 edge after the opening period of play before Walnut Ridge outscored the Lady Rebels 15-4 in the second quarter to take a 24-14 advantage into the dressing room at the half. The Lady Bobcats held a 36-25 lead entering the final quarter.

In Thursday night's victory over Cross County, Kenzley Wilson led Riverside with a game high 18 points while Rebekah Frayer also hit double digits, scoring 12 points. Anna Brickell netted six, Lindsey Bennett tallied three while Tara Campbell added two points for the Lady Rebels, who went to the foul line a whopping 38 times, connecting on only 16. Riverside finished with three treys.

Danielle Andrews led Cross County with 10 points. The Lady T-Birds went to the free throw line just six times, connecting on two. Cross County made one three pointer.

Cross County led 10-8 after the opening period of play before Riverside came back to take a 20-18 halftime edge. The Lady Rebels pushed their margin to 29-25 after three periods of play.

In junior high action, the Lady Rebels picked up a pair of conference victories, defeating Walnut Ridge 35-25 Monday night before rolling over Cross County 37-13 Thursday night.

Natalie Milligan pumped in 13 points in Riverside's victory over Walnut Ridge while Gattlin Hale scored nine points. Abbie Love netted five, Skylar Kauke tallied four while Sydney Emery and Ashlyn Snyder pitched in two points apiece. Both teams struggled from the foul line, with Riverside hitting just five of 20 foul shots while the Lady Bobcats could manage only one of nine from the line.

Gattlin Hale poured in a game high 15 points in Riverside's 24 point win over Cross County. Natalie Milligan scored eight, Sydney Emery and Ashlyn Snyder tallied four points apiece while Abbie Love and Hannah Fisher added two points each.

Riverside shut-out Cross County 14-0 in the first period and held a 16-3 lead at the half. The Lady Rebels put the game away in the third period and led 29-11 heading into the final frame.

The Senior Lady Rebels will begin Northeast Arkansas Invitational Tournament play Friday, Dec.23, at the Convocation Center in Jonesboro. Riverside, seeded 11th, will take on 6th seeded Valley View in a 1:30 p.m. contest.
