George Friedman (Bill) Aufrecht

Mr. George Friedman (Bill) Aufrecht, 55, of Blytheville, went to be with the Lord Dec. 2, 2011, as the result of an automobile accident. He was a retired construction worker and all around general handy man.

Bill was a member of the North Tenth Street Baptist Church.

He enjoyed fishing; he was a big supporter of the Arkansas Razorbacks; and he especially loved playing with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Aufrecht, and his wife, Deborah Glasscock.

Bill leaves his step-daughter, Jennifer Moore (and Cordero Rogers Sr.);

Four grandchildren, JDynn Moore, Emma Moore, Justin Moore, and Cordero Rogers Jr. all of Gosnell; and

His best friend who was like a brother, Jimmy Crocker (and Cindy) of Blytheville.

Funeral services have been changed from Friday to Thursday evening at 6 p.m. at Carney Funeral Home, 1501 Byrum Rd., Blytheville, with Dr. Max Briley officiating.
